Streamer N3on is owning up to the Fanatics Fest mistake that left Penta exposed without his trademark mask.
The WWE star was briefly caught unmasked during N3on’s live broadcast from Fanatics Fest in New York City. Penta had apparently been told he could remove his mask in that area, while N3on had also been told he was allowed to stream there. That combination led to Penta accidentally appearing on camera without his mask as N3on and his cameraperson walked through the venue.
After realizing what happened, Penta approached N3on and asked him to delete the footage. N3on agreed and removed the clip from the stream, but viewers had already recorded the moment and quickly spread it across social media.
N3on has now released a video apologizing directly for the situation. He called the incident a misunderstanding and insisted he never meant to disrespect or anger Penta. N3on made it clear that exposing Penta without his mask was never intentional.
“I just wanted to apologize. It was a clear misunderstanding. They told him that he could take the mask off in that area, and they told me I could stream in that area. It just clashed, and s**t happened.”
“It was never my intention to anger you on purpose. I’m sorry.”
Penta’s mask is a major part of his identity, and unmasking a luchador without permission is treated as a serious issue in professional wrestling. Even though N3on deleted the footage when asked, the clip was already out of his hands once viewers started saving and reposting it.
Penta will now turn his attention back to WWE, where he is scheduled to defend the Intercontinental Championship against Chad Gable at SummerSlam 2026 on August 1 and August 2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
