WWE RAW could kick off with a major Money in the Bank fallout moment, because “Mr. Money in the Bank” Penta is currently listed to open tonight’s October 12 episode.
Viper Reports revealed that Penta is part of the early internal lineup for RAW and is presently scheduled to appear at the very start of the show. That would put the Money in the Bank winner front and center immediately after one of the biggest victories of his WWE run. Penta walked out of Money in the Bank with the briefcase, and now WWE appears ready to waste no time addressing what comes next.
As always with early WWE rundowns, the order is subject to change before RAW goes live. Creative plans can shift throughout the day, so Penta opening the show is not locked in until it actually happens on television.
Still, if the current lineup holds, RAW will begin with the man holding one of WWE’s most dangerous bargaining chips. Chad Gable is scheduled to defend the Intercontinental Championship against Rey Fenix, while The Usos and Solo Sikoa will team up against 946 in a six-man tag match.
Liv Morgan is also set to make her first RAW appearance since regaining the Women’s World Championship at Money in the Bank, and WWE is expected to provide a medical update on Je’Von Evans after the brutal fall he suffered at the Premium Live Event. Rey Mysterio is also scheduled to face Big Cass.
But if Penta really does open the show, WWE could be putting the biggest post-Money in the Bank question right at the top of RAW — what exactly does he plan to do with that briefcase?
Monday Night RAW airs live from the Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City, Louisiana, beginning at 8 PM ET on Netflix. Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of this week’s show over in our WWE Monday Night RAW coverage hub.
