WWE may already have its opening move locked in for tonight’s RAW—and Stephanie Vaquer is expected to get the first spotlight of the night.
According to TRNBCKL Gold, the early plan for the August 17 episode of Monday Night RAW is for Vaquer to open the show with a segment. These are still early creative plans, and as always with WWE television, the rundown can change before RAW goes live.
Vaquer’s segment would kick off a loaded night from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York, with Roman Reigns also scheduled to appear. Reigns is expected to be involved in the ongoing Bloodline situation after Jey Uso defeated Solo Sikoa last week.
Chad Gable is also set to defend the Intercontinental Championship against Rey Mysterio, while the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender’s Tournament continues with Dragon Lee facing El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. and Rey Fenix taking on El Fiscal. Lyra Valkyria vs. Sol Ruca is also currently set for the show as both women look to build momentum in the Women’s Intercontinental Championship picture.
For now, though, WWE’s first move of the night appears to belong to Stephanie Vaquer. If the current rundown holds, she’ll be the one opening RAW before the rest of the card gets rolling.
