WWE is wasting no time getting SummerSlam Sunday moving, because the opening match for Night Two has now been revealed.

PWInsider states that Sami Zayn vs. Finn Bálor will kick off the August 2 show at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The winner will earn a future shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship. That gives WWE a fast-paced singles match to open the second half of SummerSlam weekend before the show moves into its title-heavy lineup.

Zayn enters the match looking to work his way back into the world championship picture after losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to CM Punk. Bálor has his own chance to jump straight into contention with one win on one of WWE’s biggest stages.

The rest of the SummerSlam Sunday card includes Roman Reigns defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins, Penta putting the Intercontinental Championship on the line against Chad Gable, and the five-woman ladder match for the Interim WWE Women’s Championship.

Trick Williams will also defend the United States Championship against Baron Corbin, while Danhausen faces Dominik Mysterio in a Human Monies on a Pole Match.

WWE often uses the opener to set the tone for the entire night, and Sami Zayn against Finn Bálor gives the company two proven performers with major stakes attached from the opening bell.
