SPOILER On Match Expected For WWE Payback

WWE is running Payback one week after SummerSlam. This is an interesting choice, but the company obviously wants to follow up the biggest party of the summer with something else right away.

Matt Riddle is not booked for SummerSlam. He recently sent out a tweet joking about heat, but that’s not the case. He’ll get his match on pay-per-view, but he’ll have to wait.

According to Fightful Select, Matt Riddle and King Corbin’s match was never booked for SummerSlam. This wasn’t pulled due to any reason because it simply was never booked for the card.

At this time Riddle vs Corbin is booked for Payback, but plans can always change again in WWE.

Ringside News previously reported that WWE was having a lot of issues with Payback. They kept changing their plans. They now have about a week to put together another pay-per-view after SummerSlam.
