WWE appears to be using tonight’s RAW to set up a serious collision for Sunday Night’s Main Event.

According to the spoiler rundown for the August 17 episode of Monday Night RAW, Paul Heyman is set to arrange a match between Oba Femi and Bron Breakker for Sunday Night’s Main Event.

The current RAW plans call for Femi and Breakker to have a segment together during the show, with Heyman ultimately getting the match put together. That would give WWE a heavyweight showdown between two guys who don’t exactly specialize in taking it easy on people. The match hasn’t been officially announced by WWE yet, so this remains part of the early creative plans for RAW. As always, WWE can make changes to the rundown before or even during the live broadcast.

If the current plans hold, RAW won’t just be about building toward Money in the Bank. WWE will also use the show to lock in Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker for Sunday Night’s Main Event, with Paul Heyman right in the middle of making it happen.

That’s a lot of power and bad intentions in one match, and WWE appears ready to pull the trigger on it sooner rather than later.
