AEW taped the February 1st episode of AEW Collision from the VBC Probst Arena in Huntsville, Alabama on January 29th and a lot of things happened during the taping. This included an injured star making their triumphant return in over a month.
During the February 1st AEW Collision taping, Bandido made his return from injury at the tapings. He stepped in to help The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum) after Chris Jericho, Big Bill, and Bryan Keith attacked them following their match.
Bandido had been sidelined with a concussion since ROH Final Battle on December 20th, where he returned to help Matt Cardona after an attack by Chris Jericho, Bryan Keith, and Big Bill. Bandido suffered aconcussion after he landed on the back of his head while performing a missile dropkick after Jericho’s victory over Cardona. This was his second major injury layoff, as he had previously been out of action since June 2023 due to a wrist injury.
We will have to wait and see how Bandido will be booked in the coming weeks now that he has finally returned from his concussion. Fans are hoping he will have a proper feud with Chris Jericho and eventually defeat him for the ROH World Championship once and for all.
