WWE is expected to end the October 16 episode of Friday Night SmackDown with Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton standing across from each other.
According to Viper Reports, the current plan is for the Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton segment to close the show.
That puts their face-to-face in the biggest possible spot of the night, which should give WWE plenty of room to push their issues forward before SmackDown goes off the air. This is still an early lineup, so plans can always change before the show starts.
The confirmed lineup for tonight includes:
- Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton face-to-face, expected to close the show
- Nikki Bella vs. Paige
- R-Truth vs. Damian Priest
The October 16 episode of SmackDown takes place from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California, and airs at 8 PM ET on USA Network. Ringside News will have full coverage of WWE SmackDown throughout the night with live results and match-by-match updates.
