Chris Jericho’s mystery role at AEW All In 2026 is no longer a mystery. During the August 26 AEW Dynamite tapings, it was revealed that Jericho will compete in the Casino Gauntlet match at Wembley Stadium.
Jericho had already confirmed that he would be at All In, but he refused to say what AEW had planned for him. The subject came up during his interview with The Wrestling Classic, where the host pointed out that Jericho hadn’t been announced for a match or segment. Jericho kept his answer short and left fans guessing.
“You never know. I’ll be there.”
Now we know. Jericho won’t just be hanging around backstage or popping up for a quick segment—he is getting in the ring for the Casino Gauntlet. The match also fits the way Jericho has been used during his latest AEW run. He explained that he is willing to take whatever assignment Tony Khan gives him instead of demanding the same spot every week.
“It’s just to contribute in any way that Tony wants me to at this point. It’s not like I’m on the show every week, but I’m on most weeks, and kind of whatever he wants me to do.”
Jericho has mixed it up with Ricochet, Tommaso Ciampa and Kevin Knight in recent months, giving AEW plenty of possible interactions to throw into the Casino Gauntlet. The match format also allows Jericho to enter at any point and immediately cross paths with another major name.
Jericho tried to keep his Wembley plans under wraps, but the secret didn’t survive the August 26 Dynamite tapings. He will be part of the Casino Gauntlet at AEW All In 2026, putting another former AEW World Champion into the mix.
