Bronson Reed could be back on WWE television tonight. The powerhouse is in Atlanta for Sunday Night’s Main Event after spending months on the shelf with a torn biceps injury.
According to PWInsider Elite, Reed is in town for the September 6 show at State Farm Arena, which immediately puts a return in play. WWE has not announced Reed for the event, so whatever the company has planned appears to be staying under wraps.
The timing is hard to ignore. Bron Breakker is set to face Oba Femi in one of the biggest matches on the card, and Breakker’s situation with The Vision has been getting messier by the week. Breakker remains one-half of the World Tag Team Champions with Austin Theory, but he has increasingly looked like someone ready to step away from the group and focus on himself.
That could be where Reed comes in. Reed is still tied to The Vision alongside Breakker, Theory, Maxxine Dupri and Logan Paul. With Breakker showing signs of breaking away and Reed now physically in Atlanta, WWE suddenly has the perfect opportunity to throw another body into the situation and shake the entire group up. Reed has been out of action since February after suffering a torn biceps injury, so if he appears tonight, it would mark his first WWE return in months.
Nothing has been confirmed on-screen, and simply being in Atlanta does not guarantee Reed will appear. Still, WWE does not usually bring injured talent into the building for no reason, and his presence ahead of a major Breakker match makes this one worth watching closely. If Bronson Reed does return tonight, the bigger question may not be whether he helps The Vision — it may be who he goes after first.
