Sol Ruca may have been banged up at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but her Clash in Italy status is looking much better now.
According to PWInsider, Sol Ruca did get banged up during Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, WWE sources indicated that she is traveling to Italy for Clash in Italy, meaning she is expected to be there.
“In regard to Becky Lynch saying Sol Ruca was not medically cleared to wrestle, Ruca got banged up at Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, WWE sources indicated this afternoon that Ruca is traveling to Italy for Clash In Italy today, so she will be there.”
This comes after Becky Lynch claimed on Twitter that Sol Ruca was not medically cleared following their match in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Lynch mocked Ruca while saying she hoped she would make it to Italy.
“I told Sol Puka (cause she makes me want to puke!!!!!) she wasn’t ready to step in the ring with me and she didn’t listen!!!!! I hope she make it to Italy although she’s not medically cleared! Some people think it’s because she LOST HER MIND!”
Ruca faced Lynch in a non-title match at Saturday Night’s Main Event, but the bout ended in controversy after Lynch pulled referee Jessika Carr into the path of a Sol Snatcher. That caused the match to end by disqualification before Lynch attacked Ruca after the bell and dropped her with multiple Man Handle Slams.
Rope Break had also reported that Ruca and Logan Paul were both believed to have potentially suffered injuries during the May 23 event in Fort Wayne. Logan Paul’s injury has since been confirmed as a torn triceps, but Ruca’s situation appears less severe.
With Ruca now traveling to Italy, it looks like WWE still has her in place for Clash in Italy despite the concern. Her issue with Lynch is already set up, and the latest report suggests the match or angle involving her is still moving forward.
Do you think Sol Ruca should wrestle at Clash in Italy if she is banged up, or should WWE protect her and delay the match? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comments.
