Shelton Benjamin Confronted Max Caster After Being Told He’s Not Wanted in AEW

Shelton Benjamin has been with AEW since the October 2, 2024 episode of AEW Dynamite. However, Max Caster didn’t seem happy about Benjamin joining and had made it clear he didn’t think Benjamin was welcome in AEW. In fact, Benjamin has revealed that he confronted Caster about those disrespectful comments.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Shelton Benjamin was asked if he talked to Max Caster about his past remarks, where Caster noted that he did not want to see Shelton Benjamin make his way to AEW and take away Caster’s spot on the roster and that he’s not wanted in AEW.

Shelton Benjamin revealed that he confronted Max Caster and had a conversation with him about his remarks. The conversation confirmed what he already thought, that Max Caster was just an idiot.

Shelton Benjamin noted that Max Caster was trying to mess with him, but once Shelton showed up, Max Caster backed down just backed down and now, Benjamin made it clear that it’s his spot now.

“We’ve spoken, and pretty much what I suspected was true, Max is an idiot. He was poking the bear but then the bear showed up and he decided, okay, maybe I should stop poking. So long story short, it’s my spot now.”

Shelton Benjamin has shown he’s not just in AEW for a short time, he’s here to make an impact. He stood up to Max Caster’s disrespect and went on to win championship gold with The Hurt Syndicate. Therefore, it’s clear Max Caster knew better than to mess with Benjamin and that’s not going to change anytime soon.
