Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez won the first-ever Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. This cemented a future WWE Women’s Tag Team Title shot. The current champions are not amused.

We previously reported that Nia Jax sent a message saying that they can’t be bothered with facing an NXT tag team. Jax’s co-champion Shayna Baszler replied wondering exactly what the Women’s Dusty Cup winners really got out of the deal.

We’ll have to see when this title match goes down. The Elimination Chamber is coming up on Sunday and WWE needs to book challengers for the pay-per-view. Jax and Baszler can always venture to the NXT brand on Wednesday night. Either way, it will likely be a very interesting match.
