Tony Khan has been determined to make Ring of Honor a worthwhile product after purchasing it back in 2022. The next step to accomplish that goal is for Ring of Honor to get a weekly television show and it appears Tony Khan is in talks with multiple stations regarding a potential weekly television show.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are multiple networks that are in talks about a potential weekly show for Ring of Honor. It was further noted that this is one of the reasons Chris Jericho was made the Ring of Honor World Champion during the negotiations.
Khan has previously talked about his dedication to Ring of Honor talent, saying it’s different from how WWE treated WCW talent in the past and he has been working to keep Ring of Honor exciting and new with all sorts of changes.
AEW is already making strides after they officially signed a major media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery earlier this year and Tony Khan clearly wants to give more love to Ring of Honor and its dedicated fanbase.
We will have to wait and see when Tony Khan secures a TV deal for Ring of Honor. After all, fans feel the show deserves weekly national television exposure to reach a larger audience.
