Seth Rollins may still be missing from WWE television, but he’s about to be back in front of cameras somewhere else. The former World Heavyweight Champion is returning to NFL Network’s Good Morning Football as the show hits the road in Chicago.
Rollins announced that he’ll be part of the Monday, September 28 broadcast as his beloved Chicago Bears prepare to face the Philadelphia Eagles. The show will broadcast live from Chicago, giving Rollins another chance to mix wrestling with one of his other biggest obsessions — football. Rollins made it pretty clear he’s ready to get back behind the desk, joking that his love for football may have returned along with him.
“I’M BACK AND I (maybe) LOVE FOOTBALL! LIVE from @chicagoinrecess 7-10AM. Limited space, but come hang! Gonna be a party!”
Good Morning Football also promoted Rollins as part of its Chicago road show, with the WWE star joining the crew as NFL coverage for the 2026-27 season gets rolling. The timing is interesting because Rollins still hasn’t returned to WWE television. He has been off programming since losing his World Heavyweight Championship match against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, leaving fans waiting to see when WWE finally brings him back into the mix.
Rollins isn’t injured and sitting at home, either. He already returned to in-ring action during WWE’s South America tour, proving he’s ready to go physically even while the company continues holding off on his television comeback.
That makes his Good Morning Football appearance another public sighting while WWE keeps whatever it has planned for him under wraps. Rollins will be talking Bears on Monday morning, but plenty of WWE fans will probably be watching for any hint about when he plans to show up on RAW or SmackDown again.
For now, Seth Rollins is back on television — just not the television WWE fans have been waiting for. With his in-ring return already behind him and his media schedule picking back up, the countdown to his WWE comeback feels like it’s getting harder to ignore.
