Seth Rollins has been back on WWE television for the past few weeks after recovering from injury and he made a huge mark at Money in the Bank as well. However, it appears Rollins has admitted that his in-ring career is winding down.

Seth Rollins has achieved enough in WWE to secure a future place in the WWE Hall of Fame. While he claims he’s just entering his prime, he also acknowledges having more days behind him in the ring than ahead.

While speaking during an interview with Michael Cole that aired during the Countdown Show before WWE Money in the Bank, Seth Rollins talked about his WWE career. Cole suggested that Rollins might be on the last major run of his career, Rollins responded by stating that he feels like he’s just starting his prime. However, he also admitted that more of his career is in the past than in the future.

“I mean, I feel like I’m just hitting my prime. Let’s make that clear. I feel like I’m just starting my prime. But yeah, I do think more of my career is in the past than in the future. That’s no doubt. I’ve given a lot of thought about my legacy and what I want it to be, and I’m back to win the World Heavyweight Championship. I want to add it to my legacy. I want to continue to build on everything that I’ve done.”

At WWE Money in the Bank, Seth Rollins fell short in his quest for the World Heavyweight Championship, but not without controversy. The match saw Drew McIntyre cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, turning the bout into a chaotic triple threat.

Adding to the mayhem, CM Punk made a surprise appearance, attacking McIntyre and derailing Rollins’ title hopes. Ultimately, Rollins’ chance at victory was thwarted amidst the turmoil. That’s why Rollins had a heated confrontation with CM Punk after the match, so we’ll have to see what’s next in store for Rollins.
