Sean Legacy just delivered a major update on his status — and he did it in a way fans didn’t see coming.

Legacy took to social media to reveal that he’s medically cleared after being sidelined with an ankle injury. In the video, he’s seen ditching his crutches and removing his leg brace, signaling that his recovery has reached a turning point.

The clip didn’t stop there. After showing himself moving without assistance, the video transitioned into the popular Jon Hamm meme from Your Friends & Neighbors, adding a humorous twist to what was otherwise a serious comeback moment.

Legacy had been out of action since the March 10 episode of NXT, where he suffered the ankle injury during a triple threat match against Eli Knight (EK Prosper) and Jasper Troy. A week later, on the March 17 episode of NXT, he confirmed publicly that the injury would keep him sidelined.

The timing of the injury forced WWE to make adjustments to ongoing plans. Sean Legacy had originally been scheduled to team with Prosper in a tag team tournament designed to crown new number one contenders for the NXT Tag Team Titles. After his injury, Elio LeFleur stepped in to take his place alongside Prosper.

Now that Sean Legacy is cleared, attention turns to when he’ll make his in-ring return and whether he’ll rejoin the tag team picture or jump back into singles competition.

Do you think Sean Legacy should return straight to the tag team division, or would you rather see him focus on singles competition when he gets back in the ring?
