Sami Zayn took his never-ending war with Johnny Knoxville to a brutal place on August 14, 2026, saying he plans to watch “Jackass: Best and Last” while hoping Knoxville suffers another traumatic brain injury. The comment came after Zayn posted a video of Knoxville taking fresh shots at him while promoting the movie’s home release.
Knoxville started the video by pretending he was finally ready to apologize for the insults he hurled at Zayn during their WWE feud, only to immediately start roasting him again.
“Sami, I know I said a lot of things in the heat of battle that I now regret. Things like how much I enjoyed smashing you in your stupid face. And sticks and stones may break my bones, but you’ll always be a ginger.”
Zayn asked, “Is it an apology when you just keep repeating the insults?” before Knoxville briefly claimed he was sorry. Zayn even admitted, “He’s apologizing. Kind of means a lot, actually.” That didn’t last long, because Knoxville immediately flipped the whole thing around.
“But what I’m most sorry for is that I’m not busting you in your big dumb face right now.”
Knoxville then bragged, “I kicked your ass from here to Hackensack,” and warned Zayn that if they ever meet again, “you better flee the ships offshore because I’m going to smoke-smash you right in the old dinkle picker.” Zayn called Knoxville’s behavior that of “an eight-year-old” before firing back with the nastiest line of the entire exchange.
“I don’t know why I expected anything different from Johnny Knoxville. I am going to be watching ‘Jackass: Best and Last.’ I’m going to be watching it in hopes that Johnny Knoxville suffers yet another traumatic brain injury just like he did in ‘Jackass Forever.’”
Zayn then added, “I’ll be watching too, Johnny. I’m always watching.” Knoxville has publicly discussed the brain injury he suffered while filming “Jackass Forever,” so Zayn clearly went straight for one of the most personal targets possible while continuing their long-running feud.
The two have been taking shots at each other since their WWE rivalry led to their wild WrestleMania 38 match, and time clearly hasn’t softened anything between them. Knoxville may have been using Zayn to promote “Jackass: Best and Last,” but Zayn made sure his response hit a whole lot harder than a standard movie plug.
What do you think about Sami Zayn saying he hopes Johnny Knoxville suffers another traumatic brain injury? Did he take the feud too far, or is this exactly what you expect from these two? Let us know what you think and leave your feedback in the comments.
