RVD has been able to pick and choose his commitments for the past several years without being locked into a contract. Now it looks like the former WWE Champion has a new home in Impact Wrestling.
PW Insider has confirmed that RVD has signed a new deal with Impact Wrestling. This will see The Whole F’n Show appear not only at United We Stand, but also, performing on a regular basis from that point on.
The length of his contract was not noted, but Rob Van Dam will be appearing at television tapings and pay-per-view events “moving forward.”
This could be very helpful for Impact Wrestling as RVD still has a lot of fans that would love to see him wrestle again. Van Dam is currently 48-years-old, but he is obviously in good enough shape to take on this new challenge in his career.
