Royce Keys isn’t waiting around for Roman Reigns to give him anything, including a pair of Jordans. The 946 member says if he wants Roman’s sneakers, he’ll simply take them himself.
Speaking to Complex, Keys was asked what he would do if Reigns ever decided to give him a pair of his Jordans. Keys immediately rejected the entire premise of the question because, as far as he’s concerned, he doesn’t need Roman’s permission.
“He wouldn’t give them to me — I would just take them. You know, I take what I want.”
When the interviewer followed up by asking whether taking Roman Reigns’ Jordans would really be that easy, Keys didn’t exactly back down. Instead, he left the door open for Roman to find out for himself: “We’ll see.”
The comment comes at a pretty fitting time considering 946 has been feuding with The Bloodline for several weeks. Keys, Bronco Nima, Lucien Price and Jaida Parker have repeatedly caused problems for the group, and things only got worse for The Bloodline after Carmelo Hayes revealed himself as 946’s newest member.
Taking Roman’s shoes wouldn’t even be completely new territory in WWE either. Bronson Reed made a habit out of stealing Reigns’ sneakers during their rivalry last year, doing it twice and eventually giving himself the nickname “The Tribal Thief.”
So Roman might want to keep a closer eye on his Jordans whenever 946 is around. Keys already says he takes whatever he wants, and considering how things have been going between 946 and The Bloodline lately, he might eventually get the chance to prove it.
