Ronda Rousey saw what Becky Lynch had to say, and she had a quick response.

Lynch recently spoke with Stephanie McMahon and looked back on working with Rousey in WWE. During the conversation, “The Man” said there was one moment where Rousey beat her up so badly that it briefly made her think she could handle MMA. Lynch explained that it wasn’t because she thought she could fight back. She just realized she could take punishment.

“Wrestling her, there was one time when she beat me up and I remember thinking — not because I could fight back, but I was like, ‘Ah, I can take a beating. Maybe I could go into MMA. I think I can take it.’ But then, that lasted one week.”

Rousey didn’t let that comment slide. She responded on Instagram and made it clear that, from her side, Becky did not get the full Ronda treatment.

“Lmao what she doesn’t realize is that I was very very nice to her.”

That is a pretty direct shot from Rousey, who built her name in UFC before moving to WWE. Becky and Ronda already have plenty of history, including their major WrestleMania 35 main event with Charlotte Flair, so it does not take much for their names to get tied together again.

Lynch may have been talking about how tough she is, but Rousey clearly wanted everyone to know she was holding back.
