Roman Reigns Expected to Drop the Intercontinental Title Before Mania’

Dave Metlzer discussed Roman Reigns’ intercontinental Championship win over The Miz on RAW last week during a recent installment of Wrestling Observer Radio.

Meltzer indicated that WrestleMania 34 plans have not changed and he is still in line to challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship Title.  In regards to if Reigns will go into the show with the Intercontinental title, it’s being said it’s very unlikely and he’s expected to drop the title before then.

Reigns is slated to work a program with Samoa Joe next, so it’s very possible Joe could be the one to dethrone Reigns before WrestleMania.
