Ric Flair’s WWE Contract Expiring Soon

Ric Flair is 70 years old, but he’s still able to work. He can take bumps too according to him, but Vince McMahon nixed a physical Crown Jewel spot.

Flair might be looking at another phase in his career soon enough if he doesn’t sign a new WWE contract. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that The Nature Boy’s WWE contract is running up very soon. This could very well find him in AEW.

Flair’s WWE deal expires right around the end of the year. He is friends with Tony Khan, to the degree that Khan was an invited guest to his wedding. I would expect WWE to make a good offer to keep him given they wouldn’t want him on the AEW television show

WWE isn’t likely to let Ric Flair go without offering him a lot of money not to show up in AEW. Only time will tell what’s next for Flair, but 2020 could be another interesting year for the two-time WWE Hall Of Famer.
