Ric Flair is a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, and he’s known for his famous promo cutting skills. So, you would think that Cameo would be a winner for the Nature Boy. That didn’t work out for one unsatisfied fan.

Since Ric Flair is not technically a WWE Superstar, he can have his own Cameo video side hustle. While some people are very happy with the video they get for $500 from the 16x World Champion, a couple fans didn’t have the best experience.

While looking at Ric Flair’s Cameo profile, the reviews are pretty good in general. That being said, a few one-star reviews really stuck out when cruising his account.

“Yo I paid 600 bucks for ric to sit in a restaurant blasted out of his mind and say my dads name wrong I paid for him to say merry Christmas to my father buff .. he called him barf and just read the instructions word for word I’m am super disappointed I spent money on this I would’ve got someone who actually puts the effort in for 600 bucks to a regular person that’s a lot of money I’m not going to give a Christmas video to my father with his hero calling him barf!”

In another one-star review, the fan wasn’t happy about what he got for his money, either. In fact, he was quite angry when Ric Flair told his brother, who was getting married, to ditch his wife for a girlfriend instead.

“After spending nearly a GRAND to have someone my brother admired enough to have tattooed on him, wish him luck on his wedding. I would have expected Ric to at least browse through the notes ahead of time not read it word for word the first time and MOST definitely NOT tell him he’s making a mistake and to remain a ‘gf’ because he was so f*cked up he could barely speak right. What would’ve be a great gift ended up being ‘the worst thing he’s ever been gifted.’ Unbelievable!”

Another one-star review made it clear that Ric Flair wasn’t with it, and that’s not what he paid for. This fan, obviously, wanted a lucid promo, but that wasn’t what he got.

“Ric was visibly drunk and put no effort into the video. He just read the bullet points that I sent in, word for word. He was halfway out of frame for most of it as well. Very disappointing.”

While there are a few angry fans, others know exactly what is going on when they give Ric Flair $500 for a short video. It will be a snapshot of his life, because he’s going to get that video back as soon as possible, no matter where he might be or what he might be doing. Sometimes he’s a bit drunk, and that’s just the life of the Nature Boy.

Cameo is a platform that we’ve covered a lot at Ringside News. WWE cracked down on their talent doing their own thing on the third party platform. Then, The Undertaker broke the internet by doing a handful of $1,000 Cameo videos before his in-ring retirement. Big E also made a killing doing the best Cameo videos of all time before WWE put the kibosh on them. Later on, WWE and Cameo partnered up, so limited Cameo videos are available, but they go fast.

We will keep an eye out for any more developments for Ric Flair. There is no telling what he will do next. He’s been through a lot and is still styling and profiling, and fans can spend $500 for a few moments of his time.
