Ric Flair is always stylin’ and profilin’, as he makes sure to be the center of attention no matter what. This includes his love for alcohol and adventures at bars and now he has revealed his craziest bar tab ever.

While speaking on Glory Daze with Johnny Manziel, Ric Flair revealed a wild story when asked about the biggest bar tab he ever had to pay. Flair explained that during the days of the Crockett Cup in Baltimore, he would cut a promo inviting women, ages 18 to 28, no boyfriends or husbands to meet him at the Harbor Master Marriott. They had a private elevator, and instead of the usual limo driver, only the invited guests came upstairs.

Flair said it’s almost impossible to get a Marriott bar to reopen after hours, but the hotel made an exception for them that night and the party went on until 6 a.m.

“Well, I never ran out. I used to get what they call a draw. So we used to have what’s called the Crockett Cup in Baltimore. I did my usual promo at the Crockett Cup—will be at the Harbor Master Marriott, right? 18 to 28, no boyfriends, no husbands. We had a private elevator, and instead of the limo driver, Bill—he’s passed away now—only the girls came upstairs. I came downstairs in the morning to pay my tab. First of all, it’s almost impossible to get a Marriott hotel to open a bar after it closes. But they opened it up for us. We partied more and didn’t go to bed until 6.”

When morning came and he went to settle the bill, the total was a staggering $8,000. His credit card couldn’t cover it, bouncing back immediately. Flair ended up calling the promoter for help to get checked out and pay the massive tab.

“When I came downstairs to pay my bill, it was eight grand. I put my credit card down and it bounced up to the ceiling and right back. I had to call the promoter and say, You might have to come down here and help me get checked out.”

Ric Flair’s $8,000 bar tab story shows the big, wild lifestyle he became famous for. From sold-out wrestling shows to all-night parties, The Nature Boy still proves why he’s one of wrestling’s most fun stars both in and out of the ring and that’s not going to change anytime soon.
