Ric Flair has announced he will no longer be appearing at the ATL Comic Convention, citing personal and health-related issues for the cancellation.
In an update posted to his official Instagram account on July 18, 2025, The Nature Boy shared the following message with fans:
“I am not going to be at the ATL Comic Convention tomorrow because of personal and health related issues. Thank you so much for understanding & for all the appreciation! I look forward to seeing you at a future signing.”
This comes shortly after Flair revealed on Busted Open Radio that he still has one more procedure to undergo following his skin cancer surgery. Despite the situation, the WWE legend assured fans he’s feeling good and staying active.
“Yeah, one more procedure. Thank you, I feel great. I feel great.”
Flair recently completed a 3-minute plank challenge and continues to train hard in the gym, proving he’s still got the heart and drive of a 16-time World Champion.
Fans are surely disappointed by the convention news, but health comes first—and it’s great to see Flair staying honest and transparent during his recovery.
