Ric Flair is fighting back against the backlash surrounding his controversial comments about Hulk Hogan’s death—and now he’s presenting what he claims is a direct message from Hogan’s widow, Sky Hogan. But instead of clearing the air, Flair’s latest post is raising questions about authenticity.
On December 11, 2025, Flair shared a screenshot on Twitter that appears to show a supportive message from Sky. In it, she sympathizes with Flair over the way his words were allegedly twisted by the media and reassures him that Hogan loved him.
“Good morning Ric. I’m not sweating this media thing … I know how they love to twist things up and take one sentence out of context in an interview to make a headline.
I’ve been off of all social media, so I haven’t heard the podcast or seen much of anything… It’s just better while I’m grieving.
But I know you loved Hulk and he loved you!”
At face value, the message appears to offer Flair some comfort. But the format of the post is unusual. It doesn’t resemble a standard text message. There are no timestamps, sender identification, or screenshot elements common to actual message threads. Instead, it reads more like a typed note on a blank white background, which raises some questions.
This attempt at clarification comes after Sky Hogan previously told TMZ Sports that Flair’s claims about Hogan turning to street drugs were false. She also stated Flair did not speak with Hogan the day before his death and mentioned that Hogan was under constant hospital care with no signs of unsupervised substance use. Her earlier statements were corroborated by two additional family sources.
Flair had already walked back his original comment by claiming he was repeating what he had heard from family members. Now, with this new post, he’s trying to reframe the conversation again—but the presentation of the message leaves more questions than answers.
Is Ric Flair being transparent with this post—or does the odd format suggest a different story altogether? Drop your feedback below.
