Dutch Mantell isn’t holding back when it comes to Ric Flair. The former WWE manager tore into The Nature Boy on the latest episode of BroDown with Mac Davis, making it clear that whatever respect he once had for the 16-time world champion is long gone.

Mantell revisited an online feud the two had a year or so ago, saying the entire exchange left a bad taste in his mouth. He still isn’t sure whether it was Flair himself or someone managing his social media account behind the insults, but the takeaway was all the same.

“I hate to say this,” Mantell began, “but Flair’s a d*ckhead. He’s an a**hole.” He explained that the situation started when he made a comment Flair didn’t like, which led to the Hall of Famer firing back online. “I said something and he took offense to it. He came back, and I don’t know.”

But Mantell didn’t stop there. He also slammed Flair for thinking he could still compete at his age, accusing him of being out of touch with reality. “Flair still thinks he can get in the ring now and compete at the same level he did 30 years ago,” he said. “It can’t be done.”

Flair last laced up his boots in 2022 for a tag match alongside his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo against Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett. Although the match drew major attention, Flair later admitted he passed out during the bout and struggled to deliver anything close to his former self.

With Flair still involved in wrestling on a limited basis—especially through appearances and brand deals—some fans continue to question whether his legacy is helped or hurt by his refusal to step away for good.

Do you agree with Dutch Mantell’s take on Ric Flair? Or should the legend get more respect for still wanting to be part of the game? Let us know how you feel in the comments.
