Rhea Ripley may still be recovering from knee surgery, but she’s already switched things up while she’s away from WWE. Ripley just revealed a new look, trading her previous hairstyle for a pretty noticeable silver-and-black combination.
The WWE Women’s Champion took to Instagram and uploaded a new photo showing off the change. She didn’t give fans much of an explanation either, simply writing: “Hi 🙃” The hair itself did most of the talking.
Done by Haunted Vanity, Ripley’s new hairstyle keeps plenty of black but adds silver streaks along the sides. The biggest change is at the back, where a large section of her hair has been dyed completely silver, giving her a two-tone look that’s pretty hard to miss.
It’s also the latest look of Ripley while she remains away from WWE television following knee surgery. Ripley underwent surgery earlier this month after a torn meniscus failed to heal without an operation. When she revealed the news on August 6, she admitted going under the knife wasn’t exactly what she wanted.
Fans got another look at her recovery a few days later when Ripley appeared during a Twitch livestream wearing a large knee brace and using crutches. She needed some help getting seated, making it pretty clear that she was still in the early stages of getting back on her feet.
So Ripley might not be ready to walk back through the curtain just yet, but apparently knee surgery wasn’t going to stop her from changing things up in the meantime. One photo and a simple “Hi” were enough to introduce the new silver-and-black Rhea Ripley.
