Rey Mysterio’s Status with WWE

As previously reported, a rumor surfaced online this week that Rey Mysterio had signed a two-year deal with WWE but those rumors turned out to be false.

According to Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, Mysterio had not signed a WWE contract as of Thursday but he did indicate that it could happen very soon. This wouldn’t surprise us one bit, as Mysterio is featured heavily as a bonus character for the upcoming WWE 2K19 video game and there has been talk of WWE trying to sign him to a three-year deal with the company.
