Rey Mysterio Becomes WWE United States Champion

Rey Mysterio has been through a lot in the past couple of months. The past 24 hours saw him losing to Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. Now Mr. 6-1-9 is WWE United States Champion.

Rey Mysterio had to win a fatal four-way match before he even got a US Title shot. The title opportunity was supposed to go to Humberto Carrillo, but the OC beat him down prior to his match starting.

After a chaotic finish and Randy Orton’s help, Rey Mysterio was able to defeat AJ Styles to become the new WWE United States Champion.
