Roman Reigns is set to have one of his busiest stretches in years, and a new backstage report has revealed there’s a reason for it.

According to Fightful Select, Reigns’ schedule became a topic of discussion within WWE after the company revealed his fall appearances earlier this week. The report notes that this is expected to be Reigns’ busiest year with WWE in several years, and that the increased workload came at TKO’s request.

Earlier this week, WWE officially confirmed that Reigns will appear on the October 19 and November 2 editions of RAW, Crown Jewel, the November 9 and November 23 episodes of RAW, Survivor Series on November 28, and the November 30 edition of RAW.

For fans, it’s a noticeable change. Reigns has worked a much lighter schedule over the last few years while still remaining one of WWE’s biggest attractions. This fall, however, he’ll be showing up far more regularly than fans have become accustomed to.

Fightful didn’t provide any additional details about why TKO wanted Reigns on more shows, but the report makes it clear that his expanded schedule wasn’t something people backstage overlooked. It became a talking point internally after WWE made his upcoming appearances public.

With Crown Jewel, Survivor Series, and several episodes of Monday Night RAW all on his schedule, Reigns looks set to be front and center as WWE heads into one of the busiest parts of its calendar.

Do you think Roman Reigns should continue working a heavier schedule, or do you prefer seeing him as a special attraction? Let us know in the comments below.
