This match will likely culminate this feud. These two men have still not reached the immense potential this feud had. While there matches have been fantastic they have not been the expected level of two of the worlds best wrestlers. Sumerslam will rectify this hopefully. The added element of Shane McMahon is a little strange but if the plan is some sort of Kevin Owens – Shane McMahon feud then it is understandable.
This match could and should be the best match on the card. It has the potential to be a match of the year. Hopefully the added element of Shane does not get in the way of that potential. The title has been hot potatoed over the past few weeks and whatever the reasons for that this feud has been a lot to take in. This Sunday this feud ends on a hopefully amazing note and with the probability of a Shane Owens feud looming Styles is likely to walk out with the gold. The hope is that Owens does not get lost in the shuffle due to that result. He is a fantastic professional wrestler and deserves to be in the main event scene always. Sunday will not be his night however.
