Akira Tozawa (c) vs Neville – Cruiserweight Championship
To the surprise of many, myself included, Neville lost the Cruiserweight title to Akira Tozawa on RAW. The rematch will take place Summerslam and will logically be on the pre-show. Changing the title on RAW was smart. It created a shocking moment and intrigue into a repetitive feud. It also saves a huge moment like this from being on the pre-show which it is too big for.
The fact the title changed this past Monday makes it seem like that was the plan for Summerslam. That, along with the match being on the pre-show due to time constraints, points to Tozawa remaining champion. WWE rarely change titles on the pre-show and i cannot see them going that route here. This seems like another safe bet on Tozawa. While Neville was a fantastic champion and is still a fantastic superstar, Tozawa and Titus worldwide will do an exceptional job with the belt. Neville is the preferable champion but his time will come again.
