Elias
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Elias is one of NXT’s best successes. Despite lukewarm to borderline vitriolic responses down in NXT, Elias is now one of the most popular superstars on Raw’s roster. Night after night, people want to walk with Elias. Who’d have thought that Elias would become a staple of Raw?
The Drifter is set to face Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank for the Intercontinental Championship, and I think there’s a very good chance that he walks away from Chicago with the IC title in his possession. Elias has been on the cusp of greatness for a while now, but he’s not quite got it yet. How many notable Elias victories can you name?
Now would be a good time to capitalize on Elias’ momentum by having him defeat Seth Rollins in a really good match. This would solidify the fact that Elias is a big deal.
As for Rollins, a loss against Elias would allow him to move into the Universal Championship picture, because God have mercy on our souls if Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar face off again.
