Piper Niven just absolutely torched a fan after they mocked her appearance following her recent neck surgery.
Last week, Niven revealed she underwent serious neck surgery in California. The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion shared that she had an anterior discectomy after dealing with an extremely difficult eight-month stretch physically and emotionally.
Now, one fan decided to take a shot at her appearance on Twitter by comparing her to Mason Rook following the May 19, 2026 episode of WWE NXT.
“It’s nice to see that @PiperNivenWWE got a haircut and is back on tv #WWENXT”
Niven clearly was not interested in letting the comment slide quietly. She immediately went nuclear on the fan and unleashed a brutal response while jokingly embracing the comparison to Mason Rook.
“The frickin balls on you mate 😂 If @MasonRook_wwe and me are even somewhat related then you’re our weird uncle that mum makes us invite to family gatherings cause it’ll make gran happy.”
She then completely unloaded on the fan personally with a savage insult. Niven kept going by making it crystal clear she wanted no interaction with the troll moving forward.
“You look like an inflamed toenail and ye probably smell like one too boot. Don’t ever talk to me or my son again.”
She even jokingly recruited Mason Rook into the destruction by ending the response with another threat aimed directly at the fan.
“@MasonRook_wwe I’ll hold him down and you set in about his ribs, go on lad.”
The response immediately got attention online, especially because it came only shortly after Niven emotionally revealed the extent of the neck issues that had kept her off WWE television since August 2025. When discussing the surgery last week, Niven admitted the past several months had been extremely difficult behind the scenes.
“Pain and heartbreak are incredible teachers and the lessons I have learned from this will stay with me forever.”
Niven has not wrestled since defeating Charlotte Flair on SmackDown in Dublin last August, and WWE still has not officially announced when she will return to television.
Bottom line: Piper Niven may still be recovering from neck surgery, but she proved very quickly that she has absolutely no problem firing back at fans who decide to take cheap shots online.
