The August 10 episode of WWE RAW went down at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. Roman Reigns will defend the WWE World Title in Mexico City, but he needs a challenger.
Every championship in WWE needs a #1 contender, and that is certainly true for the World Title. This week on RAW, Penta and Lorado Kid had a match to determine who would go on in that tournament.
Since Penta is a former IC Champion, he may be poised for a bigger spot in the company. The former Lucha Bro started toward that goal with a big win on RAW as he defeated Lorado Kid to proceed in the tournament, as he won with a Mexican Destroyer. He will face the winner of Psycho Clown and La Parka.
WWE RAW takes place on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. This marks WWE Raw’s first return to Mexico City in 15 years.
Obviously, this will be a huge show with Roman Reigns on the card. It will be very interesting to see who WWE places against the OTC for that historic show.
