Paige and Nikki Bella took their WWE SmackDown fight somewhere completely different after the show—and Paige apparently wanted Nikki to squeeze a little harder.
During the August 28, 2026 episode of SmackDown, Paige challenged Jacy Jayne for the WWE Women’s United States Championship. Paige lost after interference from Fatal Influence before Nikki attacked her from behind. Nikki unloaded with elbow strikes and stomps before dropping Paige with the Rack Attack. After the show, Paige jumped on Twitter and threatened to end Nikki’s comeback.
“From behind like the p*ssy you are, @NikkiAndBrie. I promise you, I’ll get ahold of you very soon and end your dusty comeback.”
Nikki fired back by rejecting the “dusty” insult and reminding Paige that she is a WWE Hall of Famer.
“LOL, dusty? Can’t be dusty when you’re an iconic legend and Hall of Famer. And this p*ssy ain’t the kind little bitches—it’s strong, iconic, memorable and fearless. You can look, but you can’t touch. You got it?”
That’s when Paige took the exchange completely off the rails. She told Nikki that she should have choked her even harder because she was beginning to enjoy it.
“Should’ve choked me harder, babe. Was starting to enjoy it.”
Paige’s response added a sexually charged twist to a fight that started with Nikki blindsiding her on SmackDown. The two are now scheduled to face each other on the September 11 episode in Mexico City.
Nikki may have thought she was hurting Paige, but Paige’s response made it clear that choking her might not produce the reaction Nikki wanted.
