Paige’s WWE comeback just got even more serious, as new details suggest this isn’t just a one-time return.
Bodyslam.net reports that Saraya, known to WWE fans as Paige, has officially re-signed with WWE under a multi-year contract. That means her return isn’t just about WrestleMania 42 — it could mark the start of a full-time run back in the company.
“Sources indicate to Bodyslam that Paige (Saraya) has re-signed with WWE. It is a multi-year deal.”
This update comes right after reports surfaced that Paige is expected to compete at WrestleMania 42, potentially stepping into the Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal Four-Way match if Nikki Bella isn’t medically cleared due to her ankle injury.
Paige has already been brought into Las Vegas ahead of WrestleMania weekend and was seen taking part in a match run-through earlier this week, signaling WWE is preparing for her involvement if needed.
If confirmed, the deal would mark a massive turning point in Paige’s career. She was forced to retire from in-ring competition in 2018 after a serious neck injury led WWE doctors to rule her unable to wrestle. At the time, many believed her in-ring career was finished permanently.
Since then, Paige rebuilt her career outside WWE, including a run in AEW where she returned to the ring and captured the AEW Women’s Championship before eventually departing the company in 2025.
Now, with a multi-year contract in place and WrestleMania 42 just a day away, Paige’s return suddenly feels much bigger than a one-night surprise — it could be the start of a full second chapter in WWE.
Do you think Paige signing a multi-year WWE deal is the right move, or should WWE take things slow with her return after everything she’s been through? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
