Dominik Mysterio has dealt with plenty of awkward situations in WWE, but this might have been one of the most unexpected.
During a WWE live event, Women’s Tag Team Champion Paige put Dominik on the spot by openly flirting with him in front of the crowd, while Brie Bella happily encouraged the whole thing. With Liv Morgan nowhere to be seen, Brie pointed out that the Women’s World Champion was off enjoying herself in New York before turning the attention to her tag team partner.
“Well, I did see the greatest champion of all time partying it up in New York while you’re here. But my tag partner might give you a better time. This one. Here.”
Dominik looked completely caught off guard. Instead of shutting it down straight away, he tried to figure out what Paige actually saw in him. Mysterio asked if she was attracted to him because of his mustache, saying, “Is it the mustache?” Paige didn’t hesitate as she said: “It’s the mustache.”
That only made Dominik even more curious. He kept asking questions, wondering if it was something else about him that caught her attention, including whether she liked Mexican guys. Paige simply nodded along, making it obvious she wasn’t joking.
By that point, the crowd was loving every second of it. Fans cheered as the awkward flirting continued, but Dominik eventually remembered there was one very important problem with the whole situation: Liv Morgan. Before things could go any further, Dominik shut it down.
“Well unfortunately for you, I am taken by the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time, Liv Morgan. So, you guys are most definitely not strong enough to take on the Judgment Day.”
So, despite Paige’s best efforts—and plenty of encouragement from Brie Bella—Dirty Dom stayed loyal to Liv Morgan, bringing the thing to an end before it truly began.
