Paige is dealing with a heartbreaking loss after revealing that her beloved dog, Lobster, has passed away. The former Divas Champion shared the news on Instagram, admitting she’s completely devastated after losing the companion who had been by her side for the past decade.
Paige revealed that Lobster passed away at 14 years old, and she was struggling to come to terms with saying goodbye. In her emotional post, she described him as her best friend and explained just how much he meant to her.
“I lost my best friend yesterday.. my sweet boy lobster crossed the rainbow bridge and I’m so f****** crushed. My boy has been through it all with me and he did it with such love. Everyone loved Lobster. He was just that kinda dog. You met him, you fell in love. He was truly one of a kind special. He was my baby.”
Paige also opened up about how much Lobster had been through over the past year and a half. While she didn’t share the specifics of his struggles, she made it clear that his strength had amazed her, especially considering his age.
“You guys have no idea what he’s been through the last year and a half but I was in awe of his strength. I tried my hardest to give him the best life possible during the 10 years I got to be his mumma. He was 14 years old and for a pitbull, man that’s incredibly impressive.”
One of the most emotional parts of her tribute came when Paige reflected on rescuing Lobster. She explained that although she originally saved his life by taking him in, she believes he ended up doing something just as important for her.
“I saved his life when I rescued him and ultimately he ended up saving mine.”
Paige ended her message by asking everyone to hold their pets a little closer. She also shared one final goodbye to Lobster, making it clear how much she’ll miss having him around.
“Hug your fur babies extra tight for me please.. I love you sweet boy, my puppacitooo bonito! Till I get to see that handsome face again, I’ll miss you every day and ache to hold you 💔”
For Paige, Lobster was clearly much more than a pet, especially after everything they experienced together over ten years. Her tribute shows just how important he was during some of the toughest moments of her life, and losing him after so many years together is understandably devastating. It’s a difficult goodbye, and our thoughts are with Paige as she mourns her longtime companion.
