Paige Collett just added another completely insane chapter to the hookup story she’s already been telling, and somehow the part where she had to recover for days wasn’t even the messiest part.
In a new video posted to X on August 9, Collett opened up more about the guy she hooked up with after years of dealing with CRPS, wheelchair use and being physically unable to tolerate normal intimacy. This time, she revealed the guy thought she was 19, even though she wasn’t, and then ghosted her afterward. Collett dropped that bomb right away.
“He thought I was 19.”
Then she piled on another detail that made the whole thing even stranger. Collett said the guy had the same name as her father and was the same age as her father.
“Men are sick f*cks. Well, he did have the same name as my dad and he was the same age as my dad. But, you know, clearly men are the issue.”
From there, Collett explained why she’s even talking about this stuff publicly in the first place. She said people constantly ask what her sex life is like with CRPS and how she can even be touched because of the pain. Collett knows it’s deeply personal, but she also pointed out that she has shared basically every ugly part of her life with fans already, from homelessness to living in a wheelchair to fighting her way back into some kind of normal life.
“A lot of that’s obviously really personal, but I’ve shared so much with you guys. Being in the wheelchair, getting out of the wheelchair, discovering I had a disease, to educating myself on this disease. Mourning and grieving so publicly, so straightforward and honest with you guys.”
Collett said the reason she keeps talking is because sick people need to hear that they’re still allowed to live like human beings. Then she circled right back to the hookup and made it even wilder, joking about getting out of the wheelchair and immediately trying to live a little. And after all that? The guy disappeared on her.
“Life’s not over. You can go on adventures. You can experience life. You can. You’re human. You’re allowed to play, laugh, explore.”
“So I got out of that wheelchair, gave a blowjob. It’s in Guinness World Records. But then he thought I was 19.”
“I got ghosted. That’s a part of it. So I’m like, yeah, it’s happening. I’ve been a wild child all summer, boys.”
That’s the part that really turns this into one hell of a story. Collett spent years unable to deal with basic physical contact, finally let herself have an intimate experience again, dealt with the physical fallout from it, then found out the guy thought she was 19 and got ghosted anyway.
Collett is laughing about it now, but the bigger point behind all of this is still serious. She’s trying to show people dealing with chronic illness that life doesn’t have to stop, even if trying to live normally comes with pain, awkward moments and apparently getting ghosted after one of the strangest hookups imaginable.
