JCW’s Paige Collett is using her platform to help a family in desperate need after their home became too dangerous to live in.

Taking to Instagram, Collett shared an emotional video asking fans to support a fundraiser for a close friend and their family, explaining that they’re trying to get them into a safe home before winter arrives.

“PLEASE HELP US GET THIS FAMILY INTO A SAFE HOME BEFORE WINTER ❤️”

Collett explained that the family’s current home has caved in and shifted, leaving it unsafe to live in. According to her, the house no longer has heat, air conditioning or a working water heater, making the situation especially concerning because three children are living there.

“I’m reaching out to ask for help for a dear friend and his family who are facing an urgent and heartbreaking situation.

Their home has caved in and shifted, leaving the house unsafe and without the basic necessities a family needs. There is currently no heat, no air conditioning, and no water heater. Most importantly, there are three children living in the home, and I am doing everything I can to help this family move into a safe home within the next month—before winter arrives.”

Collett said the fundraiser is intended to help the family move into a new home and purchase basic necessities they’ll need as they start over.

“We are raising funds to help cover the cost of moving into a new home and providing basic necessities, including things like blankets, towels, and other essential household items they will need to start over.”

She also encouraged anyone who can’t donate to simply share the fundraiser, saying every bit of support helps bring the family closer to a safe place to live.

“Every donation, no matter the amount, can make a difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser could mean just as much. My goal is simple: get these children and their family into a safe, warm home before winter.”

The GoFundMe gives a better idea of how serious the situation is. According to the fundraiser, the house has shifted so badly that it’s literally being held together with rope tied to a tree, while the family is living without basics like running water, heat and air conditioning. The goal is to help them move into a safe home and provide a more stable environment for their three children. At the time of writing, the fundraiser has raised $471 USD toward its $2,400 USD goal.

Collett’s message isn’t about wrestling—it’s about helping a family get out of a dangerous situation before winter arrives. She’s hoping fans can chip in however they can, whether that’s through a donation or simply helping spread the word.
