WWE has a lot more coming for SummerSlam 2026.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select says ESPN is expecting the final SummerSlam lineup to feature 12 or 13 matches spread across the two-night event on August 1 and August 2.
WWE currently has nine matches announced. That means another three or four bouts could still be added before the company heads to U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
One idea discussed backstage had The Vision defending the WWE World Tag Team Championship. That match has not been finalized, so it remains one possible way WWE could fill out the card.
ESPN is also expecting Penta’s Intercontinental Championship defense against Chad Gable to be featured during one of the first-hour windows. The current SummerSlam lineup includes:
- CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes
- Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins
- Liv Morgan vs. IYO SKY
- Penta vs. Chad Gable
- Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill vs. three opponents to be determined
- Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi inside Hell in a Cell
- LA Knight, Solo Sikoa and Royce Keys vs. Jacob Fatu, Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso
- Gunther vs. Nick Aldis
- Danhausen vs. Dominik Mysterio
With WWE planning as many as 13 matches, the SummerSlam card is far from finished. Several wrestlers are still waiting for spots, and more announcements should be coming before the two-night event begins.
