7: Elias Vs Apollo Crews: Pre-Show

It’s abundantly clear that the WWE has absolutely no idea what to do with these two former NXT stars. Elias is a solid mid-card heel and Apollo is one of the company’s most athletically talented performers, the fact that they have been put in a random feud on the pre-show of No Mercy speaks volumes about where they are in the current pecking order.

Elias’ pre-match stuff was fun, as it so often is, but the match itself was an instantly forgettable affair. Apollo and Titus O Neil could at least become a team, adding some depth to a struggling tag division.
