Nikki Bella didn’t wait until next week to answer Paige. After the September 4, 2026 episode of WWE SmackDown went off the air, Nikki jumped on Twitter and made it clear she plans to shut Paige up when they meet in Mexico City.

The two went way below the belt backstage on SmackDown, with Paige dragging John Cena into the feud by using his famous “hustle, loyalty and respect” line against Nikki. Paige then twisted the knife even more by taking a shot at Nikki’s divorce, saying she would end Nikki’s career quicker than her last relationship.

WWE posted the heated exchange after the show and wrote that things had gotten “way out of hand” between the two women. Nikki saw it and had an answer ready. She wrote, “Um they sure did!! I’ll end that smack talk in Mexico City! @Saraya will see that it’s MI CASA!! 💋🔥💪🏽 #Smackdown”

That “MI CASA” line wasn’t exactly subtle either. Nikki is heading into the September 11 SmackDown in Mexico City treating the place like home turf, and after Paige went digging through her relationship history on television, she clearly plans to make this one hurt.

The bad blood has moved well past normal wrestling trash talk at this point. Paige brought up Cena, mocked Nikki’s divorce, and now Nikki is promising to end the talking when they finally get in the ring. Paige got the last word on SmackDown. Nikki Bella wants the last word in Mexico City — and she’s already warning Paige that she’s walking into her house.

What do you think of Nikki Bella’s response to Paige after SmackDown? Do you think she gets the win in Mexico City, or did Paige get too far inside her head? Let us know what you think and leave your feedback in the comments.
