Nikki Bella Believes She Can Still Wrestle Amid In-Ring Return Rumors

Nikki and Brie Bella left WWE in 2023 to focus on building their own careers and identities, and they’ve clearly been successful in doing so. However, Nikki Bella made an appearance on the January 6th edition of RAW, sparking rumors that she might return to wrestling in WWE. Nikki has now stated that she believes she still has what it takes to step back into the ring.

While speaking during an interview with US Magazine, Nikki Bella said she missed wrestling and being part of the WWE family. She explained how seeing the fans and feeling the energy of the crowd made her want to come back.

Having started with WWE at 22, Nikki said it’s always felt like home to her. She mentioned how great the backstage environment is now, especially with the women’s locker room. She felt happy and thankful for the positive energy there.

“I’ve missed it for quite a few years. I miss being Nikki Bella. I miss being around that family. I definitely miss being in that ring. When they put me in the crowd that night and to feel the energy and see the Bella Army, whether they were in the crowd or online, it starts to give you these feels. Going home to WWE, I don’t think people understand, I started at 22. That’s all I ever knew up until a little bit ago. So, that’s been the biggest home for me and to go back and be home and the environment there is so incredible. The women were just, what a great locker room. They were just so awesome and together and one and unity and everyone back there was just so happy. You could tell the energy there right now is just incredible.”

Nikki Bella also talked about how she helped pave the way for other wrestlers and said she still feels like she has it as She hinted that a return to WWE might be in her future.

“I’m like, ‘This is why we paved roads in this industry.’ I feel so blessed to go back and experience it. I’m like, ‘OK, I think I need to experience this more.’ I really love it. I feel like I’ve still got it, so we’ll see.”

WrestleVotes previously reported that WWE and Nikki Bella have had “significant discussions” about her return, and those talks have been “successful.” Bella is now expected to make a comeback in the next few weeks, but it’s still uncertain whether this will be more than just an appearance at the Royal Rumble. Nonetheless, we’ll have to see if she will end up making her in-ring return at the Royal Rumble and beyond, as fans feel that would be the best thing for Nikki Bella.
