The Bella Twins Announce Their Departure From WWE

Brie and Nikki, now formerly known as The Bella Twins, have officially confirmed the end of their association with WWE. The WWE Hall of Famers made their debut in the company back in 2008 and went on to become pioneers in the women’s division. Now their time in WWE is over.

The twins were associated with the global juggernaut for long time, however, they announced recently that the end of the line for their WWE journey has come. They made this announcement official after fans noticed that they changed their names on social media.

Nikki & Brie disclosed their departure from WWE in an interview with People. The duo will be known as the Garcia Twins going forward. When it was time for them to renew their contract with the WWE, Nikki explains that they “just knew it was time to head into this next chapter.”

The first hint surrounding their exit from WWE was dropped by the Garcia Twins when they removed the Bella name from their social media accounts. This was seen in a post on Twitter with a major announcement made by them.

“Hi I’m Nikki Garcia, Hi I’m Brie Garcia. And we’re the Garcia Twins. 👯‍♀️ Welcome to our next chapter! 🦋✨🤍✨🦄🤩🥳🫶🏼🫶🏼🍷🥂🍾”

As mentioned, the big announcement focused on a new show coming up. Every Wednesday, The Nikki & Brie Show, a new program featuring the twins, will air on Sirius XM and other podcasting services.

With the Garcia Twins officially ending ties with WWE, they have seemingly embarked on a new journey of making a brand separate from the one they have been known through. We will have to wait and see how the future would look for Nikki and Brie without WWE’s association moving forward.
