Nia Jax has heard people call her “dangerous” in the ring for years. She isn’t interested in denying it anymore. Her response now is basically: yeah, she is.
While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Jax directly addressed the reputation that has followed her throughout her WWE career and made it clear the criticism doesn’t bother her nearly as much as people might think.
“Well, you know, it’s funny because I’m always like, ‘Oh, you’re dangerous. You’re this.’ It’s like, ‘Yeah, I am dangerous.’”
One of the hosts immediately pointed out that a professional wrestler is supposed to be dangerous. Jax agreed—and didn’t exactly soften the message.
“You get in your way, you’re going to get a punch in the face.”
That was pretty much it. No long defense of her wrestling. No attempt to convince people they’ve misunderstood her. No running away from the reputation. Jax has spent years hearing the same criticism, and now she’s simply owning it.
The conversation eventually turned toward Becky Lynch, who famously suffered a broken nose after being punched by Jax during the November 2018 RAW invasion angle. When one of the hosts jokingly asked whether Lynch sends her birthday and Christmas cards every year, Jax quickly shut that down.
“No, no, she doesn’t.”
Things then got considerably more physical inside the studio. Dave LaGreca said he wasn’t willing to take a punch from Jax but thought he could handle one of her chops.
So Jax gave him one. But after years of debate over whether Nia Jax is too dangerous inside a wrestling ring, she apparently isn’t interested in arguing about the label anymore. Call her dangerous all you want. Nia’s response is right there: “Yeah, I am dangerous.”
