AAA just added another fight with championship stakes to Ola de Calor. Jack Cartwheel, Nathan Frazer and Mini Vikingo will collide in a triple threat match on August 30, 2026, with the winner earning a shot at the AAA Latin American Championship.
AAA General Manager Rey Mysterio announced the match on August 26. The timing makes things interesting because the new contender will be crowned on the same night AAA decides who actually leaves Texas with the title.
Damian Priest, El Fiscal, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and La Parka will battle for the vacant AAA Latin American Championship in a four-way match. Whoever survives that fight will already have Cartwheel, Frazer or Mini Vikingo waiting for them.
The show will also feature a gauntlet match to determine who challenges Lady Flammer for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship at TripleMania 34.
AAA Ola de Calor takes place at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, Texas. The updated card includes:
- Jack Cartwheel vs. Nathan Frazer vs. Mini Vikingo in a Latin American Championship number one contender match
- Damian Priest vs. El Fiscal vs. El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. La Parka for the vacant AAA Latin American Championship
- War Raiders vs. Los Americanos for the AAA World Tag Team Championship
- Penta, Rey Fenix and Dragon Lee vs. Perros del Mal
- AAA Reina de Reinas Championship number one contender gauntlet match
- El Carnicero’s debut
AAA is making sure the Latin American Championship picture won’t slow down after a new champion is crowned. Before the belt even leaves Edinburg, its next challenger will already be locked in.
